    Upload a build

    The file is written to the server's disk and its SHA-256 is computed as it arrives. Nothing else is held in memory.

    Every version goes up twice, and both are the same build.

    The package is what a customer downloads: Multistage-Sidechain-Windows.zip, HAKUNIZER-macOS.zip, built by tools/packaging/pack_release.py with the installer, the product manual and the Discord sheet in one folder. The server checks its name and looks inside it.

    The installer is the bare .exe, .pkg or .dmg, and it exists for one reader: the updater inside a plugin somebody already has, which downloads whatever the server sends and hands it to the operating system to run. Send those a ZIP and nothing installs.

    Whichever goes up second is compared against the first — the archive carries a checksum of the installer inside it — and a pair that is not the same build is refused. Neither can be made current alone. Up to 300 MB.

    There are development builds registered. They need no licence: whoever has the file has the plugin. They download only with an owner session and every download is recorded below. The plugin itself writes UNLOCKED TEST BUILD — NOT FOR RELEASE across its own face while it is open, so one of these cannot pass for a release build.
